How do I take a quiz?
  1. Open Quizzes. In Course Navigation, click the Quizzes link.
  2. Open Quiz. Find an available quiz you'd like to take and click the title of the quiz.
  3. Take Quiz. To begin the quiz, click the Take the Quiz button.
Can you leave a canvas quiz?  YOU ONLY HAVE 4 HOURS TO COMPLETE.  I have given everyone extra time.
To resume the quiz, click the Resume Quiz button. The quiz will resume where you left off. When you are finished, you can submit the quiz.

At any point during the quiz, you can view a summary of your quiz on the right-hand side of the page. Questions you've answered will be faded out and identified by a check mark icon, while unanswered questions will be bolded and identified by a question mark icon Along with the time the quiz will be auto-submitted, you will also see a timer showing your progress on the quiz. For untimed quizzes, the quiz shows the elapsed time

If you are taking a timed quiz, the timer shows the running time and counts down until time expires.

You can flag the questions you want to go back to by clicking the flag icon next to the question. The flag will change color to yellow to remind you to finish the question. The yellow flag will also appear in the question overview in the sidebar.

Canvas will save your quiz as you go. If at any point you accidentally log out of Canvas or leave the quiz, you can log back in and resume the quiz from where left off (unless time ran out!).

When you are ready to submit the quiz, click on the "Submit Quiz" button.

Students,

I suggest you print out this email, so you have it in your hands when you go to take quizzes and midterms.  Your screen will be locked down so you can't juggle back and forth.

Students  you MUST download this software in order to use LockDown Browser while taking your final midterm.  Please do so now.  

Many of you have already downloaded this software for other classes.  It is the same software.

You will receive a prompt when you start the midterm.

I suggest that you download the software and launch it to become familiar with the interface before starting the midterm. TODAY!! :).  DO NOT WASTE TIME DOWNLOADING THIS DURING THE SCHEDULED MIDTERM TIME.

You will also be prompted to download the software when you start the exam. If you try to download the software as the exam starts, you may run into issues and miss the start of the exam.  If you already downloaded the software just move on and ignore this prompt.

All  midterms  are  a combination of True/False, Multiple Choice, and short Essay questions.

You will have the entire class time to complete.  If you have special needs additional time has already been allocated in the system for you.
