WHAT: Everyone benefits by being ready, including first year students, transfer students, students from the first generation in their family to go to college, and many more. Even students entering their last year of college still have to get ready for learning! By the end of this Level you will add at least one strategy to Level Up your readiness for college.

WHY: The more prepared you are to begin learning when classes begin, the more successful you will be. This Check in With Yourself survey will tell you which college readiness strategies to investigate further in the Inform Yourself section.

HOW: Respond to each question in the Check in With Yourself survey for this Level.

  • High Strength area - I do this regularly.
  • Strength area - I have done this before and know how.
  • Growth area - I have tried this and want to level up.
  • High Growth area - This idea is new to me and I want to learn more.

Look at your results to identify growth or high growth areas to investigate in the Getting Ready for College - Inform Yourself activity.

This survey was adapted from a college readiness self-assessment created by College Grazing.
